Jonathan Collins

Jonathan Collins has been singing since he was ten years old. There was no formal start to it — no audition, no program — just an early certainty that this was the thing he'd keep doing, long before there was a stage, a studio, or a label built around one.

He is, first and before anything else, a vocalist. Lead vocal, lyrics, and songwriting are all his own work on "Love Cheats Me," KOMPX Records' debut single — but it isn't the first song he's written. A catalogue of original material already exists, finished and unreleased, waiting for its own time. "Love Cheats Me," recorded live to tape at KOMPX Studios with producer Josh Richard, is simply the first of it to reach anyone else.
